Birtamod: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has expressed concerns over the deepening mistrust among political parties concerning election issues. At a programme organized by Birta Jaycees in Birtamod of Jhapa, Ghimire voiced skepticism about the timely conduct of elections, citing security issues as a major reason.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Speaker Ghimire suggested that the government should involve the private sector to stabilize the country’s economy. He noted that the private sector is hesitant to invest due to the increase in anarchic activities, which has weakened their morale and created a sense of insecurity.
Speaker Ghimire emphasized the importance of government responsibility in maintaining security to foster trust and cooperation among political parties and the private sector.
