Kathmandu: The final game of the league stage is being played today in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) underway in Kathmandu. Karnali Yaks and defending champions Janakpur Bolts are set to face off at 3.30 pm in the TU International Cricket Stadium.
According to National News Agency Nepal, both teams have accumulated two points each from their six matches played so far and have been eliminated from the playoff contention. The match will primarily serve as a contest for pride between the two teams.
Meanwhile, Sudurpaschim Royals, Biratnagar Kings, Kathmandu Gorkhas, and Lumbini Lions have already secured their spots in the playoffs, with Sudurpaschim Royals and Biratnagar Kings qualifying for Qualifier-1.
