Kathmandu: Kathmandu Gorkhas has posted a 112-run victory target before Lumbini Lions in today’s eliminator match in the ongoing Nepal Premier League. Elected to bat first after winning the toss at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kathmandu Gorkhas made 111 runs in 19.1 overs at the loss of all wickets.
According to National News Agency Nepal, for Kathmandu, Santosh Yadav gathered the highest 23 runs in 17 balls while John Simpson and Mohammad Aadil Alam contributed 18 runs each. Bhim Sarki and Captain Karan KC made 14 runs and nine runs, respectively.
On the bowling front, Lumbini’s Sher Malla and Captain Rohit Paudel took three wickets each, while Trumplemann took two wickets and Abhishesh Gautam claimed one wicket.
