Kathmandu: Two persons died in a road accident that occurred at Tinau Rural Municipality-3 along the Siddhartha Highway on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Milan Sarki, 31, of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality in Gulmi district. The identity of the other deceased is yet to be ascertained, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Hom Prakash Chaudhary.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the accident took place when a motorcycle (Lu 49 Pa 7795) heading towards Palpa from Butwal collided with a tipper (Lu 2 Kha 1883) coming from the opposite direction. The two individuals succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the Lumbini Province Hospital. Authorities have arrested the tipper driver in connection with the incident.
