Sarlahi: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has articulated his party’s commitment to initiating significant changes in the country. During a meeting with voters in Sarlahi constituency no. 4, President Thapa emphasized that the NC is entering the election with concrete plans and preparations to address and complete the unfinished tasks in the nation.
According to National News Agency Nepal, President Thapa highlighted the evolution within the NC following its second special national convention. He mentioned that the party now possesses clear plans, determination, and lessons learned from past experiences, which will guide their actions in the future. Thapa stressed that the NC is ready to face upcoming challenges with a renewed sense of purpose.
During the meeting, President Thapa also discussed the importance of encouraging the private sector to generate employment opportunities to keep the youth workforce within Nepal. He asserted that creating an investment-friendly environment through supportive policies is essential for this initiative.
In a related development, President Thapa welcomed Constituent Assembly Member and leader of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Kedarnandan Chaudhary, along with other leaders, into the NC. At a program held in Balara Municipality-9, JSP Nepal leaders Manish Kumar Mishra, Bina Sinha, and several leaders from various parties joined the NC, signaling a strengthening of the party’s ranks.
