Kathmandu: There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and at one or two places of the hilly region of Gandaki Province today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that partly cloudy conditions will prevail over the hilly and mountainous regions while the weather will remain mainly fair over the Tarai region.
Later tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy over Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces including the remaining mountainous regions. Meanwhile, the weather will remain mainly fair over the remaining hilly and Tarai regions.
There is also a possibility of light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places of the mountainous region of Gandaki Province. The Meteorological Analysis by the Division states that there is partial influence of westerly and local winds in the country at present, as per the 8:00 am bulletin released by the Division.
