Presidents of four thematic committees in the national assembly (na) have taken oath of office and secrecy today: NC Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal administered the oath to the newly elected Committee Presidents amid a ceremony organized at the Federal Parliament Secretariat at Singha Durbar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Puja Chaudhary was sworn in as the President of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, while Jayanti Devi Rai took the oath as President of the Federalism Enabling and National Concerns Committee. Krishna Prasad Paudel assumed the role of President of the Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, and Krishna Bahadur Rokaya was sworn in as President of the Committee for Legislation Management.
All four Committee Presidents were elected unopposed and on the basis of political consensus yesterday.
