Ljubljana:Fifteen people have died following natural disasters, including floods and landslides, caused by continuous rainfall across various regions of the country over the past four days.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Nepal Police Spokesperson Abhi Narayan Kafle reported that the casualties were distributed across several provinces, with three fatalities in Bagmati, four in Lumbini, five in Gandaki, two in Karnali, and one in Madhes.
In addition, four individuals were injured in these disasters and are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals. Rescue operations have successfully aided 1,284 people affected by the floods, landslides, and inundations. Efforts are ongoing to relocate families at risk to safer areas, with coordination between security forces and local communities.
