Accra:Minister for Information and Communications, Dr. Bikram Timilsina, announced that all journalists who were earlier taken into custody by the police have now been released.
According to National News Agency RSS, the minister conveyed this information through a social media post this evening, emphasizing the government’s dedication to press freedom.
Dr. Timilsina reiterated that “all arrested journalists have been released,” and highlighted that “press freedom and responsible journalism are the cornerstones of democracy.”
