The ever biggest human-sea-like divisional public rally of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Rangpur Zilla School ground has organizationally strengthened Awami League ahead of the next national election.
Talking to BSS at the rally venue, leaders and workers of Awami League, its associate bodies and commoners today viewed this saying that the Prime Minister’s speech and loving approach of seeking votes for boat symbol have given extra energy touching their hearts.
Rangpur district and metropolitan units of Awami League organised the mammoth public rally participated by over one million leaders and workers of Awami League and its associate bodies, professionals and common people from across Rangpur division.
Former President of Rangpur District Chhatra League Mehedee Hasan Siddiqui Rony said the Prime Minister’s speech at the mammoth rally has strengthened Awami League’s organisational vigor which will put a great impact on the upcoming national elections.
“The youths will be in the field of the next national elections with enhanced organisational strength and unity under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to ensure victory of candidates with the boat symbol in all 33 seats of Rangpur division,” he said.
Besides, the speeches of Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, its Joint General Secretary and Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Awami League Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak and other ministers and senior leaders have inspired party leaders and works largely, he said.
Rangpur District Awami League Joint Convener Advocate Md Anwarul Islam said the Prime Minister’s speech and speeches of senior leaders have encouraged leaders and workers to work unitedly during the next national elections in Rangpur division.
Joint Convener of Rangpur Metropolitan Awami League Md Abul Kashem said a miraculous number of people numbering to over one million participated in today’s mammoth divisional public rally.
“It was not possible to make a gathering of such a number of people with maximum publicity or spending money or in any other possible way. But it is the love of people to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina that brought them to the rally,” he said.
People of Rangpur region love Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, for conducting massive development and ensuring food security of the poor after eliminating ‘Monga’ forever.
“Being inspired by the charismatic leadership of Prime Minister, Awami League President and daughter-in-law of Rangpur Sheikh Hasina, people of Rangpur division will vote for the boat symbol in the next national election,” he firmly hoped.
University graduate Rafiul Islam of Rangpur city said the entire division of Rangpur wore a festive mood centering the Prime Minister’s public rally at Rangpur Zilla School ground factually turning Rangpur city into a human sea today.
“The today’s fascinating speech with love to people and able leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will sway people of all walks of life and professionals regardless of party affiliation to inspire them in voting for the boat symbol in the next national election,” he said.
Awami League leader Rasheduzzaman Babu of Kurigram said the Prime Minister’s speech at Rangpur rally has inspired leaders and workers of the party and its associate bodies at all levels to work unitedly for victory of the boat symbol in the national election.
“We will dedicate ourselves for the welfare of common people like Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and work unitedly to build a developed smart Bangladesh by 2041 to materialise the dream of building a Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu,” he said.
