Hobiganj district Awami League secretary Alomgir Chowdhury’s mother Momotaj Begum passed away at her residence in the USA on Monday. She was 90.
She left behind four sons, six daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at her death.
In a condolence message, Quader prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, said a press release.
