Baglung: The identity of the person who died in the road accident in Dhorpatan, Baglung on Friday has been revealed today. The accident took place on Friday night when a vehicle (Ga.3Cha. 3819) traveling from Burtibang to Dhorpatan met with an accident at Chwabhir, the border of Dhorpatan Municipalities-8 and 9, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Rajendra Adai of Dhorpatan Municipality-7.
According to National News Agency Nepal, driver Dil Bahadur BK, 27, of Dhorpatan Municipality-9, and Basanta Adai, 24, of Ward No. 7, were injured in the accident, as stated by Tilak Manandhar, Police Inspector of the Area Police Office, Burtibang. The injured driver is currently undergoing treatment at the Burtibang Hospital, while Basanta Adai has returned home after receiving medical care.
The vehicle reportedly fell into the Bhuji river about 60 meters below the Burtibang-Dhorpatan road, shared Police Inspector Manandhar.
