Bangladesh Secures 3-0 Victory Over Nepal in SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship


Kathmandu: Bangladesh has defeated Nepal 3-0 in the SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship match held at Changlimithang Stadium. With this triumph, Bangladesh has risen to the second position in the championship standings, accumulating six points from three matches.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Nepal now occupies the third position with three points from the same number of games. Earlier in the championship, Nepal suffered a significant 7-0 defeat against India.



Bangladesh, on the other hand, had previously achieved a 3-1 victory over Bhutan but was defeated 2-0 by India. In the recent match against Nepal, Thunue Marma, Sauravi Akhand Priti, and Mamoni Chakma were the goal scorers for Bangladesh.



Bangladesh took the lead in the 41st minute when Marma scored, followed by Sauravi’s goal three minutes later, doubling the advantage. Chakma further consolidated the victory by scoring the third goal during injury time, sealing the win for Bangladesh.
