Leaders of Bangladesh Bar Council led by its chairman and attorney general Abu Mohammad Amin Uddin today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
They placed wreaths at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu and stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said a press release.
Later, they offered fateha and joined a special munajat seeking eternal peace for the departed souls of Bangabandhu and his martyred family members.
Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh Bar Council Syed Rezaur Rahman, executive committee chairman Mohammad Moklesur Rahaman (Badal), finance committee chairman Robiul Alom Budu, Legal education committee chairman Abdul Baten, law reform committee chairman Ekramul Haque, human rights and legal aid committee chairman A F M Md. Ruhul Anam Chowdhury (Mintu), house committee chairman Anish Uddin Ahmad Shohid, relief committee chairman Md. Jalal Uddin Khan, roll and publication committee chairman FF Md. Abdur Rahaman and complaint and vigilance committee chairman Mohammad Sayed Ahamed (RAZA) were present, among others.
