Dhaka: Bangladesh Bank (BB) has alerted all in case of using its logo elsewhere for avoiding any kind of forgery. ‘It has been noticed that the social media or online is illegally using the Bangladesh Bank’s monogram or logo to advertise recruitment and online income opportunities of various institutions,’ said the central bank in a circular today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the illegal use of Bangladesh Bank’s logo is likely to mislead common people due to these fraudulent advertisements and recruitment circulars. The central bank emphasized that it has no association with such employment circulars or online earnings opportunities.
To combat this issue, BB has urged everyone to visit the bank’s official website (www.bb.org.bd) for accurate information on any matter related to Bangladesh Bank.
