Blind T20 World Cup Cricket: Pakistan Cruises to Final with Dominant Win Over Nepal.


Multan: Nepal was defeated by Pakistan in the semi-final match held today under the Blind T20 World Cup 2024. With this, Nepal has been eliminated from the tournament.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Pakistan won the match by 10 wickets. Chasing a modest target of 95 runs posted by Nepal, the Pakistan team achieved it in just 5.3 overs without losing any wickets. The match was held at Multan Cricket Stadium in Pakistan.

Nepal reached the semi-final stage after progressing through the league phase of the tournament, which features participation from six countries.

In today’s victory for Pakistan, opening batter Kamran Akhtar emerged as the top scorer with an unbeaten 63 runs, hitting 12 boundaries and one six in just 21 deliveries. Babar Ali supported with an unbeaten 32 runs off 14 balls.

Earlier, Nepal, batting first, managed to score 94 runs in their allotted 20 overs at the loss of seven wickets. Nepal’s Durgadatta Paudel was the highest scorer with 40 runs, followed by Ramesh Baniya’s unbeate
n 17. Unfortunately, no other batsman from Nepal could reach double digits.

For Pakistan, bowler Mati Ullah played a crucial role by taking three wickets, while Badar Munir claimed one wicket.
