Dhaka: Sultan Uddin Mollah, senior joint convener of the district BNP, passed away today at the age of 70 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and numerous well-wishers who mourn his death.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the first Namaz-e-Janaza for Sultan Uddin will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday at Rangamatia Eidgah Ground in the district town. The second Namaz-e-Janaza will take place after Asr prayers at Sabuj Pahar ground in Joshor Union of Shibpur upazila.
Following the Janaza prayers, Sultan Uddin will be laid to rest at his family graveyard, as confirmed by family sources.
