Bridge Construction Commences Over Modi Rivulet Along Mid Hill Highway

Parbat: An ‘arch bridge’ is set to be constructed over the Modi rivulet in the Parbat district as part of the Pushpalal Mid-Hill Highway project. This development follows the completion of the blacktopping of the highway in the section two years ago. The bridge aims to establish a connection between Modi Municipality-2, Patichaur, and Dimuwa, as stated by the project office.

According to National News Agency Nepal, engineer Kalpana Mishra revealed that the bridge department under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development has given the green light for the construction of the arch bridge. Mishra also mentioned that efforts to remove electrical equipment from the bridge construction site are currently underway.

A contract for the bridge’s construction has been finalized, outlining a structure with a length of 58 meters and a width of 11 meters. The project is estimated to cost Rs 75 million.
