Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate a three-day Deputy Commissioners’ (DC) Conference here tomorrow. The event is set to begin at 10:30 am in the Shapla Hall of the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in Tejgaon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the conference will see a total of 353 proposals presented by DCs and divisional commissioners. After the inauguration, an open discussion is scheduled between the Chief Adviser and the DCs, providing an opportunity for direct dialogue and engagement.
The evening session will include a meeting between the Chief Adviser and the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association, facilitating further interaction and discussion on administrative matters.
On Monday, alongside the working sessions, the DCs are expected to meet the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court auditorium. This meeting signifies the importance of judicial-administrative collaboration.
This year’s conference will include 34 working sessions involving various ministries and departments, ensuring a comprehensive review and discussion of administrative and policy issues. The conference is set to conclude on Tuesday, marking an intensive three days of dialogue and decision-making.
