CM Acharya Assures of Continuity of Essential Services in Lumbini


Lumbini: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya, has assured the public that essential government services will not be interrupted despite the damages caused during the Gen Z demonstrations held on September 8-9. During his inspection today of several government offices and political party offices in Banke district, which suffered significant damage during the protests, the Chief Minister stated, “Government structures in Banke were massively damaged during the demonstrations.”



According to National News Agency Nepal, the province government has estimated the total losses to exceed Rs 200 billion. Chief Minister Acharya indicated that many offices are facing difficulties in delivering services due to the damage. However, he affirmed that services are being provided from makeshift tents.
