Computer Equipment Worth 10 Million Rupees Gutted in Inland Revenue Office


Birgunj: Computers and other electronic equipment worth Rs 10 million were damaged in addition to the building of the Inland Revenue Office in Birgunj. The Inland Revenue Office was set ablaze during the arson by anarchist groups in the pretext of the Gen-Z movement.



According to National News Agency Nepal, an initial estimate shows that computers and other electronic equipment worth about Rs 10 million were damaged, said Rameshwor Kumar Mishra, Information Officer of the Inland Revenue Office. The office computers, printers, and other electronic equipment were burnt in the arson, and some were stolen.



The incident has led to significant damage to most structures on the ground floor of the building.
