Corrugated sheets and cash were distributed among 23 fire-affected shop owners in Sadar upazila here today.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Toihidul Islam distributed the corrugated sheets and money at a function held at Upazila Parishad auditorium this afternoon.
Vice Chairman Md Yunus Mia and Project Implementation Officer Md Sohel Hossain were present, among others.
Twenty bundles of sheets and Tk 60000 were distributed among 10 fire affected shop owners while 13 shopkeepers got a cheque worth Tk 130000.
