Kachanakawal: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has stressed on the preservation and promotion of the nation’s cultural diversity and historical heritage. Hoisting the National Flag at Kachanakawal, the lowest point in the country, located in Jhapa district, Dahal emphasized the importance of conserving and promoting cultural heritages to foster a culturally rich society.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chairman Dahal raised the National Flag at the designated place marker at Kachanakawal. He is set to launch the Maoist with the People Tarai Madhes Public Awareness Campaign later in the day from Hukka Hukki Chowk, Baniyani. This campaign, which begins in Jhapa, is slated to conclude upon reaching Kanchanpur in Sudurpaschim, located in the far-west of the country.
The party’s chairperson is not alone in this endeavor; he is accompanied by senior party members including senior vice-chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha, vice-chair Agni Sapkota, and deputy general-secretaries Barshaman Pun and Janardan Sharma.
