Kathmandu: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has announced its intention to organize a nationwide protest in response to vandalism and arson at its party office in Kathmandu. The party has called for action against those responsible for the attack, which took place during a demonstration at Tinkune on March 28.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Prakash Jwala, the head of the party’s central publicity department, stated that the protest aims to pressure the government into conducting a fair investigation and taking necessary action against the perpetrators. To further this goal, a taskforce led by the party’s deputy general secretary, Ram Kumar Bhattarai, has been established to assess the extent of property damage at the party office.
The CPN (Unified Socialist) plans to engage the public through nationwide programs to discuss recent political developments, the international situation, and the aspirations of the people. These programs will also address key issues such as poverty alleviation, good governance, and public concerns, while emphasizing the importance of protecting the federal republic.
