Cultural Ties Among Nations Enhances Cordiality: Culture Minister Pandey.


Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey has emphasized the role of cultural relations among nations in fostering cordiality. He expressed these views during the inauguration of the Fourth Lalabala Kathmandu International Drama Festival, hosted by Bright Future Higher Secondary School at Satdobato.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Pandey highlighted the importance of children’s plays in understanding and sharing cultures. He pointed out that through these performances, participants can learn about the diverse art and traditions of various countries while promoting their own cultural identity. He commended the festival’s initiative for offering students exposure to global art and culture outside their usual classroom environment.

District Coordination Committee chief Rishi Phuyal also praised the school’s efforts in organizing the international festival, noting its role in promoting Nepal’s values and dignity. Over the next four days, the festival will
feature 19 children’s plays by artistes from eight different countries, including Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Germany, Estonia, Denmark, and Australia, as stated by Ram Raman Humagain, a teacher at Bright Future Higher Secondary School.
