Curfew Imposed in Pokhara Amid Security Concerns

Pokhara: The District Administration Office, Kaski, has imposed a curfew in Pokhara from 7:00 this evening until 5:00 tomorrow morning. The decision affects all 33 wards of the Pokhara Metropolitan City.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma announced that the curfew was enacted following a recommendation from the District Security Committee. This measure comes in response to recent protests, agitation, vandalism, and concerns over the current state of law and order.

The curfew prohibits meetings, rallies, demonstrations, and movements within the city limits. The District Administration has warned that those who violate the curfew will face strict action by security personnel.
