DPM Prakash Man Singh Participates in Kathmandu By-Election.


Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has cast his ballot at the Yubak Secondary School polling station at Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward No 16, during the local-level by-election today. In his brief remarks after voting, Singh emphasized the importance of voter participation to strengthen democracy and highlighted the significance of elections as a vital aspect of democratic practice.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the by-election is being conducted in KMC Ward No 16 to fill the vacancy left by the passing of Ward Chair Mukunda Rijal, who was elected from the Nepali Congress. The event underscores the ongoing democratic processes in the region, ensuring that leadership positions are duly filled through electoral means.
