Dr Deuba Urges Qatar’s Special Envoy for Bipin Joshi’s Release


Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has urged the Qatari Foreign Minister’s Special Envoy on Climate Change and Sustainability, Bader Omar Ismail Al Dafa, to take further initiatives to find out the state of Bipin Joshi and his return home. Minister Dr Rana made the request during a meeting with the Special Envoy, who is in Kathmandu to participate in the Sagarmatha Sambaad. The status of Nepali youth Bipin Joshi, who was abducted by Hamas, was a focal point of discussion during this meeting.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Dr Rana expressed gratitude towards Qatar for its efforts so far in trying to secure the release of Bipin Joshi and requested the continuation of such initiatives. The meeting underscored the necessity of continued cooperation to ensure Joshi’s safe return.



In addition to discussing Joshi’s situation, Minister Dr Rana thanked Qatar for its participation in the Sagarmatha Sambaad. The meeting also covered potential areas for future cooperation and collaboration to mitigate the impact of climate change.
