Kathmandu: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Mahabir Pun, has assumed office. Soon after taking the oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President, Minister Pun reached the Kesharmahal-based Ministry and assumed his responsibilities.
According to National News Agency Nepal, after assuming office, Minister Pun signed a decision to form four advisory committees related to the education, science, and technology sectors. These committees were established to provide advice on space technology, nuclear technology, biotechnology, information technology, and Artificial Intelligence. The Ministry indicated that the members of these committees would be finalized at a later date.
