Election Friendly Environment is Current Need: Coordinator Dahal


Kathmandu: Coordinator of the General Convention Organising Committee of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, emphasized the urgent need to create an environment conducive to holding elections in a safe and peaceful manner. He highlighted this necessity while extending best wishes to all Nepalis, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of Tihar, Nepal Sambat 1146, and Chhath festival.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Coordinator Dahal expressed that the country should prioritize holding elections by resolving the existing political complexities. In his message, Dahal noted the potential for a new era of social justice and good governance, achievable through constitutional amendments for progressive transformation, following national consensus after the elections. He underscored the special contribution of cultural festivals in fostering mutual harmony, fraternity, and emotional unity, which in turn strengthens national unity.



Coordinator Dahal further expressed his belief that such festivals inspire national unity and progress by instilling a renewed sense of hope and self-confidence among the populace.
