Ex-president of Joypurhat Press Club Nripendranath Dies at 72


Joypurhat: Former president of Joypurhat Press Club Advocate Nripendranath Mandol passed away at his Arafatnagar residence. He was 72 years old and had been battling high blood pressure, diabetes, and liver cirrhosis for an extended period.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mandol is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, and numerous relatives and well-wishers who are mourning his loss. His cremation took place at Khanjanpur Mohashashan.



Mandol had a distinguished career, working with various media outlets such as the daily Banglar Bani, the daily Uttar Barta, the daily Mayer Achal, and the daily Bhorer Kagoj. His contributions to the field have been widely recognized.



Joypurhat Press Club President Abu Bakar Siddique and General Secretary Masud Rana expressed their profound shock and sorrow over Mandol’s passing. They offered prayers for the salvation of his soul and extended deep sympathy to his grieving family.
