Kathmandu: has brought the Government Integrated Office Management System (GIOMS) into use. Finance Minister Rameshore Prasad Khanal today launched the system by approving the file through the system.
According to National News Agency RSS, the system has been launched with an objective of implementing the government’s concept of making works performed by government bodies paperless through simple, easy, smooth, transparent, and effective manner. The use of the system, developed by the Department of Information Technology under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has been made mandatory at the Finance Ministry.
It has been made mandatory to use electronic signatures on the decisions, orders, register and issue letters, attendance, and manage records using this system.
