Five Workers Killed in Rolpa Bridge Collapse Incident.


Rolpa: Five workers were killed when a wall supporting an under-construction suspension bridge in neighboring Rolpa collapsed today.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the Police Chief for the Lumbini Province, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kuber Kathayat, stated that the victims have been identified as Dujaman Pariyar, 45, Om Pariyar, 31, Subitra Pariyar, 40, Aaiti Pariyar, 27, and Debiram Pariyar, 66. The tragic incident took place at Sunchhahari rural municipality-3.

The workers were buried under the collapsed wall while they were working on the construction of the bridge, which is intended to connect Maulabang and Bahirigam. Fortunately, two other workers managed to escape the disaster unscathed.
