Former President Bhandari Inquires on Health Condition of Injured Persons


Kathmandu: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has inquired about the health condition of those injured during the Gen-Z protests that occurred on September 8 and 9. The former Head of the State visited the Nepal Police Hospital in Maharajgunj on Friday to gather information about the injured individuals who are currently receiving treatment.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Bhandari’s visit was accompanied by her personal secretary, Rajkumar Rai. During the visit, Bhandari emphasized the importance of working towards fulfilling the national aspiration and prioritizing the supreme interest of the nation. She also called for unity, peace, and social harmony within the country.



The Nepal Police Hospital has treated as many as 200 injured persons following the protests.
