Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four alleged juvenile gang members from Dargapara in the town
in the early hours of today.
The arrested were identified as Md. Maruf Islam,19, Md. Monir, 22, Md. Soeb Aktar, 19 and Md. Abdul Mazid, 19, all of Masjidpara under Chapainawabganj municipality.
RAB said, a special operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp, being informed, conducted a raid at Dargapara in the town around 12.10am and arrested them with sharp weapons and drugs.
The sources added that they were the active members of an organised juvenile gang and they were involved in snatching, extortion and theft.
Later, the elite force handed them over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar thana with a case.
