Pokhara: The Gandaki Province government has announced a contribution of Rs 40 million to support the victims of the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa. This financial aid will be channeled into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to assist those affected by the natural disaster.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the decision was communicated through a press release issued by Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey. He emphasized the province’s commitment to aiding in the search for missing persons and the management of deceased victims. The government is actively coordinating with relevant bodies to ensure effective response efforts.
Chief Minister Pandey urged all concerned entities to intensively engage in search and rescue operations. He highlighted the need for prompt treatment of the injured, provision of safe shelters for the homeless and affected individuals, and the arrangement of necessary relief measures.
