Good Governance and Economic Restructuring Top Agenda for New Nepal Government, Says Dr Wagle

Kathmandu: Vice President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Dr Swarnim Wagle, has emphasized that the government’s immediate focus will be on good governance and economic restructuring. During the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected member of the House of Representatives, Dr Wagle articulated that the priority for the forthcoming government is to ensure good governance alongside quality reconstruction.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the RSP has achieved a significant victory by securing 182 seats in the House of Representatives (HoR), the lower house of the Federal Parliament, during the HoR Member election held on March 5. This electoral win positions the RSP to lead governmental initiatives with a strong mandate.

RSP Senior Leader, Balendra Shah, is set to be appointed as Nepal’s 43rd Prime Minister on Friday, marking a new chapter in the nation’s political landscape. The focus on good governance and economic restructuring is expected to be a cornerstone of Shah’s administration, aligning with the party’s declared priorities.
