Dhangadhi: Minister for Health and Population, Pradeep Paudel, has announced that the current government is actively working in favor of the people. During a press conference organized by the Nepal Press Union (NPU) in Dhangadhi, he asserted that the government is cautiously performing to bring significant changes to the lives of the citizens.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Paudel, who also serves as a central member of the Nepali Congress, addressed the criticisms regarding the Constitution and acknowledged the need for better performance in fundamental areas such as health and education. He reiterated the government’s commitment to improving these sectors.
Minister Paudel further revealed plans to establish a hospital at the Shahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University and to initiate MBBS education. He also mentioned that the Geta Medical College is set to be upgraded to a 300-bed facility, with a proposal already submitted to the Ministry of Finance seeking approval for 250 permanent positions.
