Jakarta:The government is set to allocate a grant of Rs 1.5 billion to sugarcane farmers. This initiative, approved by Minister for Agriculture, Forest, and Environment Geeta Chaudhary, aims to provide incentives to farmers and was finalized on Thursday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, The grant will be distributed among sugarcane farmers in the regions of Bardia, Rautahat, Kailali, and Kanchanpur. As part of ongoing support, the government has been providing an annual grant of Rs 70 per quintal to these farmers.
