Kathmandu: The government is set to unveil a subsidy and rehabilitation package aimed at assisting individuals and areas impacted by the recent floods.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a cabinet meeting convened at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today resulted in this decision, as communicated by the government’s spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel. Additionally, the cabinet has instructed the Finance Ministry to formulate a package specifically for the people and businesses affected by the flooding of the Bhotekoshi River, which occurred on Wednesday.
