Kathmandu: A few places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali, along with the southern plains of Lumbini provinces, are predicted to experience heavy rainfall today. The weather service has indicated that the low pressure belt of the monsoon is currently at its average range.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Weather Forecasting Division has predicted generally cloudy weather across the country today. The change in weather conditions is attributed to the wind filled with water vapor emanating from both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
Additionally, moderate rainfall is forecasted in some areas within the Bagmati and Lumbini provinces. In light of this weather update, the Division has advised all concerned parties to remain vigilant about potential landslides and debris flow in streams and rivers, which could affect road transportation.
