Ljubljana:Singha Durbar A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled for 100 pm today, where several legislative proposals will be considered.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, will propose that the ‘Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’ be referred to the relevant committee for detailed examination. Additionally, the Minister will suggest forwarding the ‘Nepal Law Commission (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’ and ‘the Free Legal Aid Bill, 2083 BS’ to the appropriate committees for further discussion.
Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Geeta Chaudhary, is also set to propose that the ‘Infectious Animal Diseases (Control) Bill, 2083 BS’, which originated in the National Assembly, be sent to the relevant committee for clause-by-clause discussion.
Furthermore, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mahabir Pun, will present a proposal for the approval of the ‘National Forensic Science L
aboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2083 BS.’
In addition to the main HoR meeting, meetings of the Finance Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, and Legislative Management Committee are also scheduled for today, as reported by the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
