Kathmandu: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Shrivastava met with Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Singhadurbar on Thursday. The meeting focused on discussions surrounding bilateral relations, cooperation, and issues of mutual interest, as stated by the Ministry.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Kharel expressed his appreciation for India’s support and goodwill towards Nepal’s social and political developments. He emphasized the government’s key priorities, which include conducting elections in a free and fair manner, curbing corruption, and promoting good governance.
The Indian Ambassador reaffirmed India’s commitment to aiding Nepal in its economic transformation and prosperity through fiscal and technical assistance. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
