Kathmandu: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is cutting the power supply for five hours at Satungal area of Kathmandu Valley today. The distribution of electricity under Balambu feeder will be disrupted at Kanchan Gate, Bosigaon, Bauthali, and Satungal Chowk to carry out works on capacity enhancement of the conductor. The interruption continues for five hours from 11:00 am, NEA said, apologizing to consumers for the inconvenience caused. The consumers have been requested to complete essential works before the outage.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Mulpani substation construction project has informed that electricity will also be cut off from the distribution centers of Baneshwor, Maharajgunj, Ratnapark, Jorpati, Balaju, and Kuleshwor. The interruption will be in force till evening, NEA informed by issuing a notice.
