The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Home Ministry today recommended placing of National Identity Registration Bill, 2023 after brining necessary amendments and scrutinizing.
The recommendation came from a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing
Committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here with Committee Chairman Freedom Fighter Bengir Ahmed in the chair, an official release said.
Other members of the committee – – Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Md Habibur Rahman, Pir Fazlur Rahman, Nur Mohammad, Sultan Mohammad Monsur Ahmed, Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul and Rumana Ali– attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the committee discussed about the National Identity Registration Bill-2023 in detail and it has been placed at the Jatiya Sangsad as amended bill for passing.
