Madhesh: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Krishna Prasad Yadav, is preparing to seek a vote of confidence from the Province Assembly on December 10.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the ruling seven-party coalition convened a meeting today and decided to pursue a vote of confidence. This information was provided by Ram Ashish Yadav, the Janata Samajbadi Party’s Chief Whip in the Province Assembly.
Yadav, representing the Nepali Congress, was appointed Chief Minister on December 5. He is currently in the process of forming the Council of Ministers, which is expected to be established today.
