Mahato further detailed that 6,122 private firms and 18 partnership firms were registered anew, while 11,144 firms completed renewal procedures within the same period. Despite the influx of new registrations, a total of 1,938 industries and business enterprises were closed or deregistered. Among these closures, 1,117 belonged to the commerce sector, with factors such as an economic slowdown, liquidity constraints, and a shortage of investment capital contributing to the closures.

The Ministry reported that Rs 52.649 million in revenue was generated from the registration and renewal of industries and business enterprises, as stated by Information Officer Mahato.
