Kathmandu: Minister for Health and Population, Pradeep Paudel, emphasized the necessity for Nepal to capitalize on its limited resources effectively. Speaking at a national joint annual review meeting organized by the Ministry, Minister Paudel acknowledged the challenges posed by resource constraints, which have hindered the launch of new programs. He stressed the importance of utilizing available resources efficiently within the existing budget.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Paudel noted that the lack of an action plan has resulted in underutilization of the budget. He called on officials to prioritize sanitation in hospitals to maintain public trust in hospital services. He also highlighted the need for clear information on health service fees at health facilities and advocated for hospitals to become plastic-free zones.
