NA Rescues 12 Trekkers from Gosainkunda


Kathmandu: The Nepali Army has successfully rescued 12 trekkers who were stranded in the Gosainkunda area of Rasuwa district.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Directorate of the Public Relations and Information of the Nepali Army stated that the rescued trekkers were located in Gosainkunda-5 and subsequently brought to Syafrubesi. The operation was executed by a team from the Shreenath Battalion, which had been deployed for the search and rescue mission.



Further efforts are ongoing as teams from the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and APF Nepal, equipped with drone cameras, continue their search for four additional missing individuals in the area, as noted by the Directorate.
