Kathmandu: Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, has asserted that the National Assembly will persist in its commitment to fulfilling the constitutional responsibilities of Parliament during the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dahal extended his best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, and continuous progress to all Nepali citizens, both within the country and abroad, on the occasion of Constitution Day. He urged citizens to commit to the implementation of the constitution, protect the achievements gained from the people’s movements, and fully adhere to the constitutional framework.
Dahal also highlighted the challenge of conducting timely elections as agreed upon by all parties. He emphasized the need to address the changes brought about by the Gen-Z movement and reinforced the importance of defending the constitution under the leadership of elected representatives.
